Keeping in view the importance of information technology a few intellectuals of society thought about providing computer education to the students of this college and also to the students of M. G. P.G. College and Ram Narain Girls Inter College. To turn the thought into reality the able and dynamic foresighted young secretary of National Educational Society Mr. Mankeshwar Nath Pandey established Prakash Narain Institute of Computer Technology in the premises of M.G. Inter College which is providing computer education to the students of M.G. Inter College.

The Institute is well equipped with 90+ latest computers, 01 Server, 2 A.C. Labs, Multimedia room having latest LCD projector. Internet surfing is very attractive to students. The society has a website to facilitate the easy access of information relating to admission, forms availability, results and other happenings in Prakash Naraian Institute of Computer Technology ,M.G. Inter College

The Institute has the latest and first of it's kind in Gorakhpur Geometer Sketch Pad (GSP) for mathematics and Computer Aided Experiences (CAX) for Physics praticals through animation to facilitate and enhance the knowledge of mathematics and Physics. The faculties of the Institute are well qualified and are getting training every year to update their knowledge.The trainings of the faculty are organised at NIIT, Delhi and at other reputed organizations /agencies.
